Symmetry

These images really spoke to the idea of the discrepency between our self identities and who we are in reality. That discrepancy is represented by the character that emerges in the images. These were made from two nearly identical portraits stacked together with one of the negatives reversed. The two identical portraits come to represent the self identity and our real selves. The character in the middle is a combination of the two and, a physical representation of our truest identity.
